I was off on an unintentional hiatus, and i must say that i don't really like not able to blog, AND i don't really like having nothing/feeling as if i have nothing to say.

Really, there's just so much to share if i can only get my thoughts in order.

Maybe for now, i'll just let some pictures do the talking.

pope @ david:

can u imagine if we could install blinking coloured christmas bulbs into each tooth? WAHAAHA.
Reminds me of casio digital pianos that have keys that light up when you press them.

by the way, i read that clean, bright teeth is nothing without healthy gums too.

yes, u r absolutely right! If ur gums are unhealthy, u may get advanced gum disease...in the end u will lose ur teeth for good. most pple lose their teeth due to gum disease than other problems

sorry i cant help dispensing boliao advice. my sis is screaming: who doesn't know this?wahaha

Eliss:

Yup... So how do we make sure that our gums are in good condition? I read that the gum disease thingy can kind of sneak up on you without much warning.

Your sis said that to agree that you cannot help dispensing advice, OR, does she mean, who doesn't know that you'll lose your teeth with bad gums?

she meant that everyone knows bad gums lead to tooth loss.....how to take care? brush ur teeth touching the gums. floss daily. visit dentist every 6 mths.it is that simple

Yup. But before the dropping of teeth, some people are not aware that just because teeth look good, it means that everything else is in order too.

oops. haven't been to a dentist in... 4-5 years?

gums shud not be red or swollen. shud not bleed easily. however most pple i see have gingivitis which is a mild version of gum disease. beyond this, gingivitis can progress to periodontal diseases. soon the person has longer looking teeth, and gum recession etc. by that time i cannot help this person liao, he has to go to ndc to scale his teeth by dental hygienists

OH MY GOODNESS. That is a VERY good piece of information and i think that i will need to alert a couple of people i know who have this. Thank yu SOO MUCH! I had no idea that gum recession meant gum disease even if it's only mild.. Still, it IS gum disease. ARGH!
