One of my favourite times are always when the cell mates come over... Eat, sing song, laugh, talk, make music. It's always a pleasure to have them around. But this saturday (today)... *rubs palms* We're going to have something extra.

Board Games Night! Who's GAME?! (pun intended)
Ok, technically, we've only got one board game, because thanks to C, we've got Balderdash! Seems like Taboo and Balderdash are staples for the youth in my church. Don't know why also. *shrug*

So far, we've got Taboo, Balderdash, Uno, and er... poker cards.

I cannooooot wait! fun fun fun fun fun...

Ok, me go do lab report now.

*skips off*

*teehee* Oei, it's really quite fun what~...

In the end, i ended up jamming with a cell mate and the rest played Balderdash. Pai seh lah, but it's not often that i get to jam with a guitarist.

I know that Dom's always been keen on jamming with others too.. so I'm glad that you two were able to jam.. though at the expense of more zany BaldingDasher fun heh >.<

So what happened to the other musicians? (4 people altogether right?)

Heh, i won't go into details cos i might lose you along the way. But the game Balderdash is primarily about each player writing "believable nonsense" and getting everyone else to believe that your story is true and vote for it.

The person who manages to vote for the real story AND also somehow is able to get other people to believe in his/her nonsense stories, wins.

Heh, you're always welcome to join us during our next board game night.

DEFINITELY! Jun already suggested christmas or (closer still) post-exam celebrations games. Hiak hiak...
Yeah, Dom said that he never jammed with another musician before so it prolly added to the novelty of finally being able to do so.

mmm~ hehe~
interesting... seems complicated!

it is initially, only because one has to get used to the procedures, but a short while afterwards it's simply a matter of story telling. it's really fun to hear the various bizarre stuff people come up with. teehee.

the best part is that the facts in the game Balderdash are all true, real world events, people, acronyms, movies, etc.

Hello~ (",)
"gem" was what Jo started calling me sometime ago, and i've commented on her blog with tt nick before.
But i realised tt anyone could use the same nick too, so I decided I might as well sign-in with my own Blogger acc. when i leave a comment.

"jem" is friend of Jo's classmate i believe.
Hope that helps clear the confusion~

No lah... Actually quite close. Well, it's part of the Yellow Ribbon Project that i'm working on... You know, my psychology course and everything, i had to get some practicum done.

Heh. Just kidding. :-P

Anyway, it actually is a long standing joke that if a Christian does get thrown into jail, s/he will start a "cell group".

LONG TIME NO SEE YOU HERE, JEREMY! =D
