Uncensored poopy post

After watching Dr Dolittle, i was inspired to post this... You know, this whole animals-are-smarter-than-you-think kind of thang. But then... Please bear this in mind... if you've just eaten or drunk something, do NOT scroll down. I'm warning you, all you people with weak stomachs, you'll REGRET it if you do. Move away to another blog before it's too late!

I debated about whether i should post it but i thought: ah, what's a little poop gonna do, we see it every morning... PLUS, this ain't no ordinary poop! This is amusement only for those of you who aren't squirmish about excretion.

Hm... i've already revealed what it is...

1. why i didn't choose Monash or Queensland:
because when i came out from JC, my dad felt that i was too young to go overseas though i REALLY wanted to go.

Well dear, i know of people who work hard for a few years, save, and they pursue a degree overseas, or in Singapore itself. I guess it's their determination and focus that drives them to do what they do. As for the relevant diploma, as far as i know, it may hold true for some unis, not all.

2. Is it true that to work in Sg Gov u need at least a 2nd upper?:

Honestly, i do not know. But that seems to be the general consensus if you want to be in a good position to get the job. (and they tend to advertise for people who fall within that category) But i always believe in trying for the job anyway, cos you'll never know. Uhm, although i'm not extremely certain of the other places, i've a strong feeling that those two aren't the only places that employ psychologists, if you're talking purely about government bodies.

3. Is it easier to find jobs with a masters?

Er... To a certain extent, yes, but then again there are many other factors like masters from which place, job positions available, what course it was, and competition from other "more qualified people", etc. But the reason why i would tend to agree is because i guess in this paper crazy nation... yeah u get what i mean. But then again, you can impress still with a good interview and past relevant experience if any.

4. Or will a bachelor degree do?

This one is reallllyyyy subjective. Cos it really depends on where you apply, and whether that place or area needs psychologists. I guess you can say that for degree holders it is "harder" to find jobs because it seems that everybody has a deree these days. But then, one may also want to think about what kind of jobs one is willing to take up. If one is flexible, then one will have more options open, and hence able to get jobs easily. I hear mixed stories of people who find it hard and people who don't mind starting low and learning on the job. Experience versus the paper qualifications.

5. How? Any reputable schs? SIM?

I would say that SIM is in a state of transition to improve itself. In most respects, i would say that it is reputable enough when compared to other private schools, though the syllabus has more space to improve at the moment.

:-DDD Thanks bro for your prayers, i guess with God in the picture, things can only be good no matter what the circumstances look like.

Hurhur, now, if only i could ask him to shit alphabets on command, some new trick.

Hey, ask you something. When you leave comments here, do you have to sign into Blogger before doing so? Some people tell me that they face the hassle of doing that.

dom-jo:

Yep. I do have to sign into blogger in order to make comments under my nic/name, otherwise, it will be anonymous...

Dom:

That's odd.... Because when i leave comments to reply, all i need to do is click a radio button called "other" and then i can simply type in my name. It'll appear in black (no link to my blogger profile) like what you see. Hmmm... You don't see the "other" option?

Dominic. said...

Oh...okay, so the "Other" option is a more convenient way out without having to login into your blogger account...
